About this Wine /
100% Malbec, from 50-year old ungrafted vines, “Pied Franc”. Concept of this cuvée: The aim of this cuvée was to put forward the power of the aromas and the great length on the palate. Due to the finesse of its tannins, this wine will be enjoyed as soon as it is on the shelves, but it will also further improve with 3 to 5 years of cellaring and can be kept to age for 10 years or more. The structure and power of this wine makes it an ideal pairing with game, meat stews, or barbecued meats. It will also match vegetarian dishes beautifully, such as black truffle risotto or red pesto linguini.
About this Winery /
“Bodega Raffy is the result of a French family dream and is nothing short of a success story for their first-ever year on the market. Having fallen in love with Argentina seven years ago, they invested all the family savings into a plot of land in Gualtallary, a very qualitative wine-growing area near Tupungato in the Uco Valley, Mendoza Province. They created everything from scratch, levelling the land, planting the grapes, and building the winery from ground to ceiling.” Visit Bodega Raffy’s website
